I am planning a hospital birth, is this course for me?

YES! A Thrill of Hope is designed to support women regardless of their chosen birth location. Kimmy brings years of experience with hospital births as well as personal experience with a birth center delivery, giving her unique insight into a variety of circumstances.

When should I utilize your services?

It is recommended to schedule your childbirth classes as early as possible, ideally taking them during your second trimester or early third trimester. Consultation services are available throughout your pregnancy, and even before and after. You can schedule one meeting or multiple depending on your needs. Class attendance is not required to schedule a consultation.

Are the childbirth classes only for expecting mothers? Or married couples?

The class is open to anyone! While an expecting mother can attend on her own if needed or preferred, it’s highly encouraged that a support person also attend. This person is most often her husband, but could also be her friend, sister, mother, etc. Having a support person there ensures they can gain the tools to effectively support the mother during labor.

Please note: Birth Restored Childbirth classes are taught from the perspective that marriage is designed by God to be between a man and woman. We believe He designed childbearing to take place within the confines of marriage, and He is a loving and gracious God capable of redeeming all situations.

Where are your services located?

A Thrill of Hope Childbirth Ministries serves women on the northeast side of the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex. Group classes are held in Carrollton. Service areas include Carrollton, Plano, The Colony, Lewisville, Frisco, Little Elm, Flower Mound, Farmers Branch and surrounding areas.

Our group (church, community group, etc.) has several expecting mothers- can we schedule a class together?

Yes! We would love to accommodate our group. Please contact us to discuss details to see if we are a good fit for your needs. It would be an honor to be part of a group eager learn together.
