Birth Restored Childbirth Education

  • From choosing a homebirth to hospital birth, a preference for unmedicated or electing an epidural, induction or spontaneous labor, this class is for anyone.

    Small classes allow Kimmy to connect with each student and tailor the information to you. Her experience with birth both in and out of the hospital offers valuable insight to the various options you may face on the journey.

    Together we’ll explore what the Bible says about birth and equip you with the knowledge and skills to have an amazing birth experience. God designed the female body to give birth and His design is without flaw.

    He has written your birth story- pack your bags and prepare to see it unfold. Adjust your expectations and perspective to celebrate the beauty in His plan.

  • Birth Restored consists of 5 units of childbirth education, offered in flexible formats to meet your needs. Classes are taught in small group settings or privately with just you and your support person.

    In Person: All 5 units are covered in class taught by Kimmy. The class meets weekly for 5 weeks, with each session lasting about 2 hours.

    Hybrid: In person classes of varying lengths taught by Kimmy are offered in combination with access to online course content. During the first session you will receive access to the Birth Restored online course, where Akasha Hines, the founder of Birth Restored, will lead pre-recorded sessions to supplement your learning.

    Course Journal: All students will be provided the Birth Restored Course Journal- a combined workbook and devotional.  As you complete each lesson in the Birth Restored Course, you will be guided to evaluate your understanding, reflect on preconceptions, and realign your beliefs based on scientific and biblical truth instead of cultural misconceptions.

  • You will know how your body was created to work and the crucial components of making the right choices early to set yourself up for success.

    You will discern the major differences between the American Birthing Culture and a God-designed Uninterrupted Birth.

    You will learn how to navigate common interventions and make wise decisions most fitting for you.

    You will gain a deeper understanding of Biblical Theology surrounding birth, uncover the lies entwined in the American birthing culture, and learn powerful tools to work with your body to have a joyful birth experience.

  • Weekend Intensive

    One weekend, 8 hours of in person learning. A weekend intensive covers most of the Birth Restored class in person and provides access to the full online content.

The Breakdown

Birth Restored is broken into 5 units. Depending on the course structure selected, varying units will be taught in person allowing time to discuss and answer questions specific to each class. The course journal follows the lesson breakdown and allows you space to record your thoughts, feelings, and prayers as you gain more insight and information about birth.

The goal is to leave class feeling informed and with accurate expectations for your birth experience. Every birth is a different story and may contain some unexpected plot twists. With the knowledge gained in this course you will be ready to navigate the expedition.
